Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Siva Nalabotu
Dr. Siva Nalabotu, DVM, MS, PhD, is a board-eligible veterinary toxicologist with several years of experience in veterinary medicine. His experience includes preventative care medicine, evidence-based medicine, surgical care, and emergency medicine. Growing up in rural India, Dr. Siva has long been passionate about caring for animals in need. In fact, he turned down an offer to go to medical school in favor of pursuing veterinary medicine.
As the owner of the VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center in Fishers, Indiana, he has provided exceptional wellness, emergency, and urgent care for countless pets in the Indiana area. Driven by his passion for making high-quality care both convenient and compassionate, he has built a successful veterinary practice and wants to help other veterinarians experience the joy and satisfaction of practice ownership.
Dr. Samantha Davis
Dr. Samantha Davis graduated from St. Matthews University (College of Veterinary) in the Grand Cayman Islands. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. Davis is both an American and Malaysian citizen; she was born and raised in Sabah (Borneo), Malaysia, by her loving parents. She has a big passion for conservation and wildlife medicine (both marine and terrestrial). She also has an interest in rescue mission medicine, soft tissue surgery, and integrative medicine.
Dr. Davis is an avid SCUBA diver and ocean lover. However, in between dives, she loves reading, traveling, being outdoors, baking/cooking, and hanging out with her cats, Maggie and Church! Additionally, Dr. Davis is a proud Gryffindor and hopes to eventually migrate to the Australian Coast to pursue her dreams of working near the ocean each day.
Dr. Bala Dodda
Dr. Bala has over 6 years of veterinary clinical experience, primarily in small animal medicine and pocket pets such as rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, and rabbits. He grew up in rural India with farm animals and pets. Dr. Bala earned his DVM and Masters in Veterinary Pharmacology degrees from A. N. G. R. Agricultural University in India. He moved to the United States in 2007 to attend Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
After graduation, he started his career in cancer research and development in contract research organizations and the pharmaceutical industry. While doing so, he occasionally volunteered in animal shelters and private veterinary practices in Pennsylvania. During his research career, he contributed his expertise to the development of human cancer drugs for lung cancer, melanoma, and breast cancer. Dr. Bala is passionate about translating such advances in human medicine to veterinary patients through strict adherence to preventative care and evidence-based medicine. His other passions include mastering internal medicine, soft tissue surgeries, emergency medicine in small animals, and small mammal medicine.
Dr. Bala lives with his wife Neelima, two boys (Smayan and Swithun), guinea pigs (Beaver and Chocolate), rabbit (Stripe), and aquarium fish. He prefers to spend his leisure time outdoors traveling, gardening, camping, hiking, and fishing.
Dr. Kevin Sang
Dr. Sang grew up in Melbourne, Florida—a charming town on the east coast—where he discovered his love for veterinary science early on. After graduating from the University of Florida in 2020 with bachelor degree in Biochemistry (go Gators!), he pursued his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, focusing on emergency and critical care. Passionate about working in the fast-paced environments of the ICU and ER, Dr. Sang strives to make a real difference in the lives of animals when they need it most.
Recently, he moved to Indiana and is excited to experience the changing seasons—a big change from the year-round warmth of the South! When he's not at the clinic, Dr. Sang loves traveling and trying new foods. A foodie at heart, he enjoys exploring local cuisines wherever he goes. He shares his life with his fiancée, Jerry, and their spirited Tortoiseshell cat, Gigi. Together, they look forward to making new memories here and becoming part of the wonderful community.
